The LCG Philosophy & History
 

Leadership Capital Group was formed in October 2000 after a private equity group located in Grand Rapids turned to a corporate psychologist to evaluate a prospective company it wished to purchase. After an insightful review of the management team, the psychologist recommended the private equity group not buy the company — so they didn’t! The prospective company folded within a year and the private equity group invested in the much needed business services offered by the corporate psychologist, Roger Jansen, Ph.D. Leadership Capital Group was born and quickly amassed clients from coast to coast who were looking for assistance with corporate new-hire selection, training, and executive coaching. LCG has evolved since its inception and has developed a proprietary set of tools and methods to address individual, team, and organizational performance and development.
